Public utility enterprises of the region are ready to start the heating season

The heating season in Poltava region can start at any time, public utility enterprises are completely ready for the beginning. This was discussed during a conference call with the Head of Poltava Regional State Administration Valeriy Golovko.
According to the weather forecast, a sharp temperature drop is expected on the 7th of October, the average temperature drops to 7-8 degrees, and since the 8th of October night frosts up to -5 degrees Celsius are expected.
– The heating season will begin as soon as cold will come, – said Valeriy Golovko. – We won’t be waiting for 3 days as it is required by current legislation. Even now, when the daytime temperature is about +15… +20 degrees and drops at night to +5… +7 it is cold indoors. At first heating will start in the social sphere – kindergartens, schools, hospitals. At the same time utility enterprises will start heating in living quarters.
Valeriy Golovko noted that the heating season will start, despite the debts of the residents to the heat generating enterprises. For example, as for today the debt of Poltava residents to “Poltavateploenergo” is over 60 million UAH.
