Farmers of Poltava region harvested 1 million 44.5 thousand tons of grain, which is 84.8 thousand tons more than in the same period of 2014.
According to the Poltava Regional State Administration and Poltava Regional Farmers they have harvested early grain and leguminous crops in the area of 261 thousand Ha (64% of the projected area), which is 18.5 thousand Ha more than the corresponding period last year.
The yield of early grains is 4.0 t/ha.
On the area of 197 thousand Ha (in 2014 – 179.4 thousands Ha) harvested 833.6 thousand tons of winter wheat (in 2014 – 761.2 thousand tons), yield – 4.23 t/ha (in 2014 – 4.24 t/ha).
On the area of 7.2 thousand hectares harvested 25.9 thousand tons of winter barley. Yield – 3.6 t/ha.
On the area of 0.4 thousand hectares harvested 1.0 thousand tons of winter rye. Yield – 2.3 t/ha.
On the area of 50.6 thousand hectares harvested 167.8 thousand tons of spring barley. Yield – 3.32 t/ha.
On the area of 5.2 thousand hectares harvested 14.1 thousand tons of peas. Yield – 2.71 t/ha.
On the area of 7.2 thousand hectares harvested 19.2 thousand tons of winter rape seed. Yield – 2.67 t/ha.
The highest yield of early grain crops marked in farms of Mashevka – 5.5 t/ha, Shyshatskyy – 5.05 t/ha, Novosandzharskyi – 4.9 t/ha, Karlivka – 4.63 t/ha, Hadiach – 4.57 t/ha.
The leaders of the yield of winter wheat is Mashevka (5.6 t/ha), Shyshaky (5.12 t/ha), Novi Sanzhary and Karlivka areas (5.0 t/ha).
