Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vladyslava Rutytska visited Poltava
The Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine on European Integration Vladyslava Rutytska visited Poltava yesterday. During the visit, she inspected PC “Biopreparat” LTD – the only plant in Ukraine, which produces toasted expanded full-fat soy, LLC “Scientific-Research Institute of soybeans” in Globyno and Poltava State Agrarian Academy.
“I am quite familiar with the soybean production in the Poltava region and people who work there. It was very important to see it by myself. We invite experts and specialists to our ministry quite often to help us in the legislative process and the development of new effective approaches. Ukraine is sufficiently known exporter of soybeans in the world today. The big plus is that we try to produce soybeans that would meet international norms and standards. In June, during the International Exhibition “AGRO – 2015”, signed the Declaration on Ukraine’s accession to the Association “Danube soybeans.” Our country is seventh in the world in the export of soybeans. Endeavoring in growing soybeans in the Danube region with the participation of Ukraine, ensuring the needs of the EU could be achieved by 2020. The Declaration “Danube Soya” is one of the ways to enter the EU market to contend Ukrainian brand of soybean and establish contacts in the region “- said Rutytska.
She noted that recently visited China, where discussed cooperation. The European market is already open for Ukraine.
“Today we are very famous in the world, as we grow and sell non-GMO soybeans. Currently we trade with Spain, the Netherlands and other countries “- said Rutytska.
