Now in Poltava region, men who move to permanent residence from temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, must be registered in the local military enlistment offices. That is the only way to get the status of migrant and the appropriate payments. This decision was made at a meeting of head of Poltava Regional State Administration Valeriy Golovko involving unit directors of the regional departments of Migration Service, Employment Service, Department of Labour and Social Welfare and the regional enlistment office. From today they will work in close cooperation.
– We created common algorithm: a man of military age registered in the migration service receives all payments only after registration in the military enlistment office – said during the meeting the chairman of the Poltava Regional State Administration Valeriy Golovko. – We going to act only this way. Otherwise our regional inhabitants will not understand us: why Poltava region performs 100% of mobilization plan, our people defend their country in the East, and those who have left the conflict do not perform their civic and patriotic duties.
As Chief Officer of Poltava regional military enlistment office Boris Pavlov commented, today in Poltava region officially registered 1140 men who moved from the temporarily occupied territory. However, only 55 of them were registered in the military enlistment office, and 14 were enlisted to the army. Incidentally, this category of men is mobilization reserve.
